Level One Diagnostic Services
Unique Ultrasound is now Offering Level One Diagnostic Services. We provide our services to many expectant families desiring to complete their ultrasound in a more family-centered, patient-pocused environment. We offer complimentary images of your session, and as always gender determination is by request only. Please call our office for more information. When spending your money for a diagnostic fetal ultrasound, you will no longer be rushed through the procedure. And, the fee for an exam is over 50% less than the common cost of an obstetric sonograms. Once the diagnostic ultrasound is complete, the reports of all findings are forwarded to the patient's physician, midwife, or clinic overseeing the preganancy. The fetal sonogram is performed abdominally. Services we offer:
Fetal Measurements (Weight, (EDD) Estimated due date) - $110.00
On this scan we measure the baby's head, abdomen and limbs. We get an estimate of the weight of the baby to give you a guide of how big the baby is as well as the position of the baby.
Fetal Position - $45.00
This scan is done closer to the end of the pregnancy to assure the physician or midwife that the baby is in the vertex positon (head down).
Placenta location - $45
We check for placenta previa, placenta tearing or placenta bleeding.
Amniotic Fluid Volume Assessment - $50
This exam is done to check for polyhydramnios (too much amniotic fluid), or oligohydramnios (too little amniotic fluid.
Fetal Wellbeing $150.00
This ultrasound is usually performed around 24 weeks to check baby’s position, placenta location as well as the following: 4 chamber, LV, Cisterna Magnum, Nuchal Fold, Spine, Kidneys, Lower Ext, 3V Cord, Cord Insertion, Stomach, Bladder, Diaphragm, Cerebellum, Choroid Plexus, Upper Ext and Nostrils/Lips.
Cervical Length Check - $50.00
If you are at risk of premature birth then we can scan to assess the lenght of the uterine cervix. This can be done at any stage from 16 weeks but is most useful at 18-21 weeks of pregnancy with a full bladder.
