Will my baby be born healthy?
I have heard all the scary stories, developmental problems, breach-birth, cord around the neck, why do some ladies love telling those stories? I just want a healthy fetus and healthy baby.
How can I be sure my baby is born healthy?
Just when you thought everything was going well with your pregnancy, then you start having these worries. I remember. When you are pregnant it seems like every woman that ever had a problem pregnancy has to tell you about it.
I remember hearing that 90% of all pregnancies end in healthy babies. But that doesn't really make you feel any better does it? It should, but when it's your fetus, your baby, 10% is way too high of a number.
I am sure you are doing everything you can to ensure the health of your baby, you are living healthy, seeing the doctor, but mostly, driving yourself crazy with these concerns.
Please do remember that if you are having contractions, leaking, bleeding or stomach or lower back pain to see your doctor immediately. Those can be signs of trouble.
