Is My Baby Okay?

I only see my doctor every 4 weeks. Sometimes I get nervous about the health of my baby.

How do I know my baby is growing and developing well?

Is My Baby Okay? This is a very common worry. It is quite natural to be concerned, especially for first-time moms. But these are the concerns of every mom, every time. When you start feeling the baby move you will be less concerned. Just remember that after 10 weeks your chance of miscarriage is very small. And if you are feeling the symptoms of pregnancy, morning sickness (anytime of day), gaining weight, if your stomach is growing and your breasts are tender, those are all good signs. But not all ladies will feel those things.

But, having said all that, if you really feel like something maybe wrong, it may be. If you feel uterine cramping or are having bleeding do contact your doctor right away.

One of the things that will help you is a professionally done ultrasound. You can see the baby move and contrary to store bought devices to help you "see" or hear your baby, an ultrasound will not fail. If you purchase a device to listen for your baby's heartbeat, and can't hear it, you will feel even more anxiety than before you brought home your device : )

We recommend 3d and 4d ultrasounds to ensure that your baby is developing normally, and we recommend them more often than your doctor will (and less expensively than your doctor) because we have seen the positive results of these ultrasounds.

We are professionals who take great pride in providing the very best level of service.  Check our Level One Screenings. You may want to have these done in addition to any ultrasounds you get at the doctor's office, or in between your appointments there.

If you have any questions about how an ultrasound can help alleviate your fears, and demonstrate the health of your fetus contact us at Unique Ultrasound 951-694-8388.
