1. Drink water right now.
Seriously, drink a glass of water while reading this. Think of water as more than quenching thirst, it is a nutrient necessary for body processes and for better health. We lose fluids through, sweat, urine, skin evaporation, breathing, and stool. These losses need to be replaced for optimal health. 2. Spend 30 minutes tonight "earthing" or "grounding" for better health.
This might seem too new age or too hippy-ish but hear me out. Grounding simply means to walk on the Earth barefoot, allowing free electrons in the earth to transfer to your body via the soles of your feet. These electrons are potent antioxidants, and antioxidants decrease inflammation. Chronic inflammation is responsible for virtually all diseases. You've probably done some earthing before, but didn't realize it had a name, or health benefits. All you knew was that it feels good to be barefoot in the grass, or on the beach. The best places to walk barefoot is on dewy grass or on the beach close to the water. Tonight, try exercising or playing at the park with your children barefoot.

3. Throw out your Frankenfoods.
If a food is advertised or has a commercial, you probably shouldn't be eating it. I can't think of one thing that I eat for optimal health that I have ever seen advertised. Highly processed foods are actually toxic chemicals completely detrimental to your well being and better health. Rid your fridge, freezer, and pantry, of anything with SUGAR, soy, wheat, gluten, pasteurized dairy, artificial trans fats, GMO grains, "flavoring", high fructose corn syrup, and aspartame, among others. 4. Eat real, better health, foods.
Compose your next meal of high quality food.
